Course Content The course consists of knowledge development and 4 open water dives which will cover: The planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards of wreck diving The preparation and use of lights, air supplies, special equipment, penetration lines and reels Limited visibility diving techniques and emergency procedures
Knowledge Development Knowledge   Development   is   based   on   a   self-study   method,   allowing   you   to study   in   your   own   time,   at   your   own   pace.   Home   study   is   backed   up   by   an academic   session   with   a   PADI   Instructor,   to   ensure   full   understanding   of wreck diving theory
Open Water Dives Students   will   complete   4   Open   Water   dives   in   the   Mediterranean   on   the Costa   Blanca   under   the   supervision   of   your   PADI   Instructor   to   certify   as   a PADI   Wreck   Diver.      During   these   dives   you   will   navigate   and   map   a   wreck identifying   hazards,   points   of   interest   &   potential   penetration   points.   Prior   to planning    and    executing    an    actual    penetration    dive    you    will    practice    line deployment/retrieval, finning techniques and correct line contact.
