As   the   sun   sets,   you   don   your   dive   gear,   slip   on   your   scuba   mask   and   bite down    on    your    dive    regulator.    A    deep    breath    and    you    step    into    the underwater   night.   Although   you’ve   seen   this   reef   many   times   before,   this time   you   drop   into   a   whole   new   world   and   watch   it   come   to   life   under   the glow   of   your   dive   light.   Introduce   yourself   to   the   whole   new   cast   of   critters that   comes   out   after   the   sun   goes   down.   See   your   favorite   dive   sites   from   a whole new perspective at night. Scuba   diving   in   the   dark    is   nothing   like   diving   during   daylight   hours   and adds   a   certain   spice   and   excitement.   When   you   go   night   diving   you'll   see   a whole   new   world.   Even   your   local   dive   site   takes   on   a   new   personality   at night,   as   many   underwater   creatures   and   plant   life   (different   from   those   you see during the day) are active at night

You'll   learn    night   dive   planning,   organization,   procedures,   techniques   and potential   problems.   You'll   also   learn   the   safety   aspects   to   night   diving,   the considerations     for     maintaining     buddy     contact,     how     to     control     your buoyancy,   entries,   exits   and   underwater   navigation   and   to   communicate   at night.   As   many   of   the   plants   and   animals   you'll   see   are   different,   you'll   also get   an   introduction   to   nocturnal   aquatic   life   In   the   Mediterranean   on   the Costa Blanca
Course Content The PADI night diver specialty course consists of a knowledge development session & 3 Open water dives which will cover: Planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems & hazards of night diving Proper procedures for buoyancy control, navigation and communication Use of dive lights and buddy-system techniques Disorientation and emergency procedures Orientation to nocturnal aquatic life
Knowledge Development Knowledge   development   is   based   on   a   self-study   method,   allowing   you   to study   in   your   own   time,   at   your   own   pace.   Home   study   is   backed   up   by   an academic   session   with   a   PADI   Instructor,   to   ensure   full   understanding   of night diving theory
Open Water Dives Students   must   complete   3   Open   Water   dives   to   certify   as   a   PADI   Night   Diver. During     these     dives     you     will     cover     correct     dive     torch     use,     effective communication, navigational exercises & simulated dive torch failure
Prerequisites: PADI    Open    Water    Diver    or    Junior    Open    Water    Diver    certification    (or equivalent certification)  Minimum age: 12 years old Now    that    you    have    mastered    the    techniques    for    night    diving,    why    not improve   on   your   navigational   skills   during   the   PADI   Underwater   Navigator Specialty     course.     This     will     enhance     your     navigational     skills,     making navigation at night easier & more enjoyable.
Get five specialty ratings including Padi deep diver specialty and Padi navigation diver specialty and you're on your way to becoming a PADI Master Scuba Diver.
